Encompassed within the National Education Association and Illinois Education Association, the award winning ISU Student Education Association prepares future educators through the three pillars of our organization. We focus all of our events around the three pillars to help you become a well rounded teacher.  We also provide many opportunities to meet other students and educators both within ISU and throughout the state of Illinois.
Educator Quality
We strive to provide future educators with great information to use in the present and future. One way we do this is through professional development. Earn professional development hours to make you stand out among other future educators!

Community Engagement
Give back to the community through volunteer hours. Each May, members have the opportunity to meet other student members and help improve a school that needs it. Community service is very important to us!
Political Action
Learn about the importance politics plays in teaching. As an organization the IEA is bi-partisan. We encourage members to vote in every election for who they think will best represent Illinois educators.
